About
I build AI products at the point where models become real work.
I'm Mayowa, a Fullstack AI/ML Engineer building production-grade intelligent systems for teams that need more than a clever demo.
At HeySynth, I work on autonomous agent infrastructure, forecasting pipelines, and fullstack interfaces for retail brands managing real inventory decisions. My sweet spot is the messy middle: data, models, agents, APIs, and the product layer people actually use.
I like working with ambitious teams where speed matters, but so do reliability, clarity, and business impact.
What I'm Good At
I ship production AI, not demos.
I care about the parts that make AI useful after the prototype: data quality, reliability, latency, interfaces, and cost.
I own the full path from model to UI.
I am comfortable moving between ML pipelines, backend APIs, agent workflows, cloud deployment, and product surfaces.
I turn ambiguity into architecture.
I like ambiguous product and platform problems where requirements are incomplete and the job is to find the simplest system that can ship.
Operating Style
I work best when the goal is clear, the path is not, and the team needs someone who can keep shipping.
How I Build
Start with the business problem and the operational constraint.
Design the smallest reliable system that can prove the idea.
Instrument, learn, and improve once real users touch it.
How I Collaborate
Partner closely with product, design, and business stakeholders.
Communicate trade-offs clearly before they become expensive.
Use AI tools daily to move faster without lowering the bar.
What I Want Next
High-trust teams building AI into real business workflows.
Problems where inference cost, reliability, and UX all matter.
Hybrid/Remote work with ownership, pace, and room to grow.
Outside Work
I run Dehoni Academy to help beginners kickstart their tech careers with practical, guided training from skilled instructors.
The mission is simple: kickstart tech careers with real skills, not passive theory. We run immersive sessions, support project execution, and help learners move from zero to presentable delivery. That teaching loop keeps my product thinking grounded in real user understanding.

200+ learners trained
At Dehoni Academy, we have trained over 200 learners across frontend, backend, data, product design, and product management tracks.

Intensive bootcamp delivery
A flagship physical bootcamp ran from August 5 to September 2024, with long practical sessions and daily hands-on coaching.

Capstone outcomes
Students who started as complete beginners shipped practical capstone projects and presented their work with confidence at graduation.
Offscreen
A few things that make me feel like myself outside the code editor.
Manchester United since 2008
I enjoy watching United games and following the season, even when the season decides to test character.
Music from an early age
I play 6+ musical instruments. The first one I learned was the keyboard, which I started playing at age 9.
Nature as reset
Time outside helps me slow down, think clearly, and come back to work with more patience and perspective.
Reading for range
I like reading because it gives me new language for old problems and helps me connect ideas across fields.
